Streamers, Guidons and Organizational Flags

U.S. Army

1. Requisitions for Army controlled heraldic items must be submitted to the Army liaison office (Clothing and Heraldry PSID), not through the DoD EMALL website.
2. The quick way to order U.S. Army streamers, guidons and organizational flags is to visit the Army website at: www.heraldry.army.mil The website contains an online form and complete instructions for ordering flags, guidons, and streamers.
3. Fax copies or paper copies of DD1348 forms are NO LONGER ACCEPTED.

U.S. Navy

1. To order U.S. Navy streamers and guidons, you should contact our Navy Support Office (NCTRF)

   The NCTRF will be happy to clarify the Navy's policy and protocol for ordering Navy streamers and guidons.
2. PGC 31873, NSN 8345-00-684-8733. Organizational Flag, type 2, indoor, heavyweight nylon, 4 foot 4 inch hoist, 5 foot 6 inch fly, embroidered, with fringe. This flag is not restricted and can be ordered from DSCP (Clothing & Textiles) through your normal supply channels or from the DoD EMALL.

U.S. Air Force

1. The quick way to order is to fax DD Form 1348-6 to our Air Force Support Office (AFCTO)

   The AFCTO will be happy to clarify the Air Force policy and protocol for ordering Air Force streamers and guidons.
2. PGC 31531, NSN 8345-01-136-7701. Organizational Flag, type 2, indoor, hoist 3 ft. fly 4 ft. with fringe. You can also mail a current full scale IOH drawing along with a DD Form 1348-6 to the AFCTO office for processing. The address is:

   The DD Form 1348-6 must include the NSN, a document number (check with your supply office for this number) and a Required Delivery Date.

Marine Corps

1. Requisitions for Marine Control controlled heraldic items (streamers) must be submitted to I & L.

2. Only Guidons (NSN 8345-00-262-3702) are controlled by the Marines in Albany, GA. (MAU). The quick way to order this item is to fax a DD Form 1348-6 to the POC in Albany, GA.

3. PGC 31469, NSN 8345-01-281-5500. Organizational Flag, type III, class1.
4. PGC 20593, NSN 8345-01-268-8226. General Officers, Type III class 2 Organizational Flag USMC, and the Dress Guidons, rayon banner cloth, 4 foot 4 inch hoist, 5 foot 6 inch fly, schiffle embroidered with fringe, cords and tassels are stocked at the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia. These can be ordered via your system ordering utilizing a A0_/Z0_ or from the DoD EMALL.

1. U.S. Coast Guard streamers and guidons are controlled by the Coast Guard Uniform Distribution Center (UDC). The quick way to order U.S. Coast Guard streamers and guidons is to fax a DD Form 1348-6 to the UDC

2. The Coast Guard organizational flag (NSN 8345-01-298-7403) is stocked and controlled by the U.S Coast Guard's Engineering Logistics Center Baltimore, MD (ZNC). The quick way to order the U.S. Coast Guard organizational flag is to fax a DD Form 1348-6 to ZNC
